June 2009: This summer I am looking forward to many days at the pottery wheel turning earthenware pieces that will be enhanced with stamp and slip decoration. It's been a fun challenge so far exploring these methods and as my first batch cook in the kiln I am excited to make more.

Other items being created in the ceramics studio are new medallions from the mold entitled, "The Winner". The very first casting has been china painted and is being donated to the Breakables Live show. Solid glazed pieces will be available to the public.

My love of the wheel and china painting have collided. Not only is it fun to pull these little itty bitty pots off the hump, it's also fun to see what fairies are lurkin' within. Miniature porcelain pottery with fully hand painted illustrations will be a new item coming near the end of the summer. I can't wait to see how they finish up! I am most excited about this project.

Lastly, there is always something for sale. If you don't see what you are looking for I am available for commission. Get that special something for that special someone today. (Please allow 2-3 weeks for production.)
